Summary

CVE-2023-32298 is a newly discovered cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Kathy Darling Simple User Listing plugin versions 1.9.2 and below. An attacker can exploit this unauthenticated XSS flaw to inject malicious scripts into a target's webpage, potentially stealing sensitive data or taking control of user sessions. Successful exploitation does not require user interaction, increasing the risk to websites using the affected plugin. We strongly recommend plugin users upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this threat.
