Summary

CVE-2023-32265 is a vulnerability affecting the Enterprise Server Common Web Administration (ESCWA) component used in Enterprise Server, Enterprise Test Server, Enterprise Developer, Visual COBOL, and COBOL Server. If exploited, an authenticated attacker could potentially gain access to a service account password. The account associated with the exposed credentials typically has limited privileges, primarily useful for extracting user account details and similar information. However, other mitigations such as restricting network access to ESCWA and limiting user permissions in the Micro Focus Directory Server can help reduce the exposure to this issue.
