Summary

CVE-2023-3202 is a vulnerability affecting the MStore API plugin for WordPress. The issue stems from the lack of nonce validation in the mstore_update_firebase_server_key function, making it susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. Malicious actors can exploit this by crafting forged requests to trick administrators into updating the firebase server key, enabling them to push notifications when order statuses are changed, even without authentication. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to WordPress websites using the MStore API plugin, as it allows unauthorized modification of crucial server keys.
