Summary
CVE-2023-31926 is a vulnerability affecting Brocade Fabric OS versions before 9.1.1c and 9.2.0. Hackers can exploit this issue by using the less command to overwrite system files, potentially leading to serious consequences such as denial of service or unauthorized access. The less command, a common text file viewer, is used to examine file contents interactively. However, in the vulnerable versions of Brocade Fabric OS, it can be manipulated to write data to arbitrary files, posing a significant security risk.
