Summary

CVE-2023-31429 is a vulnerability affecting Brocade Fabric OS before version 9.1.1c and 9.2.0. This issue allows the content of shell-interpreted variables to be printed in the terminal when using certain commands, including "chassisdistribute", "reboot", "rasman", "errmoduleshow", "errfilterset", "hassiscfgperrthreshold", "supportshowcfgdisable", and "supportshowcfgenable". The vulnerability poses a risk of information disclosure and could potentially be exploited by attackers to gain unauthorized access to sensitive data. Users are advised to update their Brocade Fabric OS to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
