Summary

CVE-2023-31297 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting SESAMI planfocus CPTO (Cash Point & Transport Optimizer) versions 6.3.8.6 and 718. An attacker can exploit this issue by injecting malicious scripts into the Name field when modifying a client's information. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access or data theft. Users are advised to update their SESAMI planfocus CPTO software to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
