Summary
CVE-2023-31176 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories SEL-451 system. This issue involves insufficient entropy in the session token generation process, making it susceptible to brute-force attacks. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this weakness to bypass authentication and gain unauthorized access to the system.
