Summary

CVE-2023-30911 is a recently disclosed vulnerability affecting HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 and 6 versions using iLOrest. This issue allows an unauthenticated attacker to send maliciously crafted requests, leading to a denial of service condition. By exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can cause the iLOrest service to become unresponsive, rendering the system management functionality inaccessible. This can significantly impact the availability and functionality of the targeted servers or devices. Organizations using the affected HPE iLO versions should apply the available patches as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
