Summary

CVE-2023-30739 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting libsec-ril before the SMR Nov-2023 Release 1. This issue permits a local attacker to perform an Arbitrary File Descriptor Write attack. By exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can write data to arbitrary file descriptors, potentially leading to the execution of arbitrary code. This could result in serious security implications, including system compromise and data theft. It is recommended that users upgrade to the latest release of libsec-ril to mitigate this risk.
