Summary

CVE-2023-30718 is a vulnerability affecting the WifiApAutoHotspotEnablingActivity component in certain Android applications. This issue allows a local attacker to manipulate an Auto Hotspot setting through an improper export function. By exploiting this weakness, an adversary can modify the configuration of the Wi-Fi Auto Hotspot feature, potentially causing disruptions or unauthorized access to network resources. This vulnerability was addressed in the SMR Sep-2023 Release 1.
