Summary
CVE-2023-30590: The crypto.createDiffieHellman() function in Node.js generates only missing or outdated private keys through its generateKeys() API, contrary to the documented behavior of generating both private and public key values. This misrepresentation could potentially create security vulnerabilities in applications that utilize this function for their security protocols, as Diffie-Hellman keys are commonly used for secure key exchange.
