Summary

CVE-2023-29487 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Heimdal Thor agent versions 3.4.2 and below on Windows, and 2.6.9 and below on macOS. This issue permits attackers to trigger a denial of service (DoS) by exploiting a flaw in the Threat To Process Correlation module of the threat prevention system. By manipulating specific input, attackers can cause the system to become unresponsive, resulting in a disrupted service for legitimate users. It is recommended that affected users upgrade to the latest version of Heimdal Thor agent to mitigate this vulnerability.
