Summary

CVE-2023-29372 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Microsoft's Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) OLE DB provider for SQL Server. An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted SQL queries to a targeted system, resulting in the execution of malicious code with elevated privileges. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized system access, data theft, or further compromise of the network.
