Summary

CVE-2023-29069 is a recently disclosed vulnerability that allows an attacker to force a maliciously crafted DLL file to install into a non-default location. By doing so, the attacker can overwrite existing files with malicious DLLs, potentially gaining elevated privileges and causing Privilege Escalation.
