Summary
CVE-2023-28994 is a newly disclosed Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 3.16.8 and below of the UX-themes Flatsome plugin. An attacker can exploit this unauthenticated reflection XSS flaw to inject malicious scripts into a victim's web browser, potentially leading to data theft, account takeover, or other malicious activities. By manipulating the vulnerable plugin's URL parameters, an attacker can execute the injected scripts on the targeted user's session, posing a serious security risk. Users are advised to update their Flatsome plugin to the latest version to mitigate this threat.
