Summary

CVE-2023-2876 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the ABB REX640 PCL1, PCL2, and PCL3 firmware modules. The issue arises due to the lack of the 'HttpOnly' flag on a sensitive cookie. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into a user's browser, potentially stealing sensitive information or taking control of the user's session. This vulnerability impacts REX640 PCL1 versions before 1.0.8, PCL2 versions before 1.1.4, and PCL3 versions before 1.2.1. Users are strongly advised to update their firmware to mitigate this risk.
