Summary

CVE-2023-28543 is a newly disclosed vulnerability that affects the SNPE library. This issue arises when the library fails to adequately validate user-supplied data in a malformed DLC (Data Loader Configuration) file. Consequently, an out-of-bounds read condition occurs, resulting in memory corruption. Malicious actors can exploit this vulnerability by supplying untrusted models, potentially gained from remote sources, to induce the memory corruption. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution or denial-of-service conditions, putting systems at risk.
