Summary
CVE-2023-28041 is a vulnerability affecting Dell BIOS. An authenticated attacker with administrator privileges can exploit this improper input validation issue to manipulate a UEFI variable. This vulnerability poses a risk to system integrity, allowing potential unauthorized modifications to the BIOS configuration. Local attackers who gain access to the system with sufficient privileges could take advantage of this flaw. Dell has released a patch to address this issue, and users are strongly encouraged to apply it as soon as possible.
