CVE-2023-27866

Summary

CVE-2023-27866 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting IBM Informix JDBC Driver versions 4.10 and 4.50. The issue arises when the driver or the application using the driver fails to adequately verify LDAP URLs in the Connect String. An attacker can exploit this weakness by injecting malicious code into the JNDI (Java Naming and Directory Interface) service. IBM has identified this issue as X-Force ID 249511.
