Summary
CVE-2023-27854 is a critical vulnerability affecting Rockwell Automation's Arena Simulation software. An attacker can exploit this memory buffer overflow issue to execute arbitrary code, gaining unauthorized access to the system. The threat actor must first persuade the user to open a maliciously crafted file for the code to execute, posing a significant risk to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the product.
