Summary

CVE-2023-27150 is a newly disclosed cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting openCRX 5.2.0. Malicious actors can exploit this issue by injecting malicious code into the Name field when creating a Tracker in Manage Activity. Successful exploitation may allow the attacker to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the affected user, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data exfiltration. Users are strongly urged to update openCRX to a patched version to mitigate this risk.
