Summary
CVE-2023-27149 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting version 1.17.2 of Enhancesoft's osTicket support ticket system. By injecting malicious code into the Label input parameter when updating a custom list, attackers can execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML on affected systems. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or other malicious activities. Users are urged to upgrade to a patched version of osTicket as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
