Summary

CVE-2023-26456 is a vulnerability in OX Guard where users could set an arbitrary product name, which was not properly sanitized. This issue allowed for indirect cross-site scripting attacks, potentially leading to temporary account takeover. Affected accounts could be configured to trigger persistent code execution, providing attackers with a foothold. The vulnerability has been addressed with sanitization measures for product names, and no publicly available exploits are currently known.
