Summary

CVE-2023-26455: A vulnerability was discovered in the Chronos RMI service where authentication was not enforced during the call to the setEventOrganizer method. This issue could allow attackers with local or adjacent network access to modify calendar items using RMI. By default, RMI access is limited to localhost, but this weakness could still pose a security risk. The affected interface has been updated to require authenticated requests, and currently, no publicly available exploits exist.
