Summary

CVE-2023-26446 is a vulnerability that allows malicious script code execution within a user's context due to insufficient sanitization of the clientID parameter at "application passwords." This can result in session hijacking or unintended actions via the web interface and API. An attacker would need temporary access to a user's account or lure them to a compromised account to exploit this vulnerability. The affected system has implemented sanitization for the user-controllable clientID parameter, and no publicly available exploits have been reported.
