Summary

CVE-2023-26436 is a vulnerability affecting the "documentconverterws" API, where attackers could inject malicious Java objects during deserialization. The impact of this issue is arbitrary code execution, and access to this API endpoint is typically limited to local networks. A new security measure has been implemented to restrict the processing of legal and expected classes, and attempts to inject illegal classes will now be logged as a warning. No publicly disclosed exploits are currently known.
