Summary

CVE-2023-26205 is a newly disclosed access control vulnerability affecting FortiADC automation features in versions 7.1.0 through 7.1.2, and all versions of 6.2 and 6.1. This issue, classified as CWE-284, enables authenticated low-privileged attackers to escalate their privileges to super_admin. By manipulating a specific fabric automation CLI script configuration, attackers can exploit this vulnerability and gain elevated access, posing a significant risk to FortiADC deployments.
