Summary

CVE-2023-2620 is a newly disclosed vulnerability in GitLab CE/EE affecting versions 15.1 to 15.11.10, 16.0 to 16.0.6, and 16.1 to 16.1.1. This issue allows a maintainer to manipulate masked portions of a webhook URL, potentially leaking masked webhook secrets. It constitutes an incomplete fix for the previously identified CVE-2023-0838. GitLab users running affected versions are advised to update as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
