Summary

CVE-2023-26147 is a vulnerability affecting all versions of the ithewei/libhv package. This issue allows an attacker to exploit HTTP Response Splitting when untrusted user input is used to construct headers values. The attacker can inject malicious content, such as additional headers or a new response body, by adding carriage return line feeds to the end of HTTP response headers. This potential XSS vulnerability could result in unintended data disclosure or execution of malicious code.
