Summary

CVE-2023-25980 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Rolf van Gelder Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions plugin version 5.1 in CAGE Web Design. An attacker could exploit this flaw to perform unintended actions on a user's behalf by tricking them into opening a specially crafted link. As a result, the user may unknowingly delete or modify data, grant permissions, or take other unwanted actions within the WordPress site. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it bypasses the user's authentication and can lead to data loss or unauthorized access. Users are recommended to update the Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions plugin to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
