Summary

CVE-2023-25529 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) of NVIDIA's DGX H100 and DGX A100 systems. The root cause lies in the host KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) daemon, which is vulnerable to timing side-channel attacks. An unauthenticated attacker can observe discrepancies in server responses and potentially obtain another user's session token. This information disclosure could lead to further exploits, including privilege escalation and data tampering. Users are advised to update their systems as soon as patches become available.
