Summary

CVE-2023-25123 is a critical buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the vtysh_ubus binary in Milesight UR32L v32.3.0.5. The issue arises due to the unsafe use of sprintf in the set_openvpn_client function. Two specific variables, remote_subnet and remote_mask, are especially vulnerable. A maliciously crafted HTTP request can trigger these buffer overflows, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. An attacker with high privileges can exploit this weakness.
