Summary
CVE-2023-25118 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the vtysh_ubus binary in Milesight UR32L v32.3.0.5. The issue stems from the use of an unsafe sprintf function, which can lead to arbitrary code execution upon receiving a maliciously crafted HTTP request. This vulnerability exists in the set_openvpn_client function, specifically with the username and password variables. An attacker with high privileges can exploit this flaw to send manipulated HTTP requests, potentially gaining unauthorized access to the system.
