Summary

CVE-2023-25099 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the vtysh_ubus binary of Milesight UR32L v32.3.0.5. The issue arises due to the use of an unsafe sprintf pattern, which can lead to arbitrary code execution upon receiving a maliciously crafted HTTP request. The vulnerability is located in the set_qos function, where the 'dest' variable is being manipulated unsafely. An attacker with high privileges can exploit this flaw to execute unauthorized commands on the affected system.
