Summary

CVE-2023-25091 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the vtysh_ubus binary in Milesight UR32L v32.3.0.5. The issue stems from the use of an unsafe sprintf function, making it susceptible to specially crafted HTTP requests that can cause arbitrary code execution. An attacker with high privileges can exploit this to send malicious requests and manipulate the system. Specifically, the handle_interface_acl function in the interface variable, when out_acl is set to -1, is where the buffer overflow occurs.
