Summary

CVE-2023-25085 is a critical buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the vtysh_ubus binary in Milesight UR32L v32.3.0.5. The issue arises from the unsafe use of sprintf, resulting in multiple buffer overflow vulnerabilities. An attacker with high privileges can exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted HTTP request, leading to arbitrary code execution. The index and to_dst variables in the firewall_handler_set function are particularly susceptible to this issue.
