Summary

CVE-2023-24412 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting version 1.7.6 of the Web-Settler Image Social Feed plugin for Auth. (administrator level access required). An attacker can inject malicious scripts into a user's account, which could be executed whenever the affected page is loaded. When a victim visits a page containing the malicious script, their browser will execute it, potentially leading to session hijacking, data theft, or other forms of unauthorized access. Users are strongly advised to update the plugin to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
