Summary

CVE-2023-23702 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting version 1.1.7 and below of the Pixelgrade Comments Ratings plugin for WordPress. An attacker can exploit this admin-level vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into comments, which are then stored and served to other users visiting the affected site. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or site defacement. Users are strongly advised to update the plugin to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
