Summary

CVE-2023-2277 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the WP Directory Kit plugin for WordPress up to version 1.1.9. The issue arises due to insufficient or incorrect nonce validation on the 'insert' function, allowing unauthenticated attackers to manipulate plugin settings and inject malicious JavaScript. By tricking a site administrator into executing a malicious link, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability to gain control over the affected WordPress site.
