Summary

CVE-2023-22526 is a high severity Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability affecting Confluence Data Center in version 7.19.0. With a CVSS Score of 7.2, this RCE vulnerability enables authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code, resulting in significant impact to confidentiality, integrity, and availability, requiring no user interaction. Atlassian advises Confluence Data Center users to upgrade to the latest version or specified fixed versions to mitigate the risk: 7.19.17 or any higher 7.19.x release for versions 7.19, and 8.5.5 or any higher 8.5.x release, or 8.7.2 or any higher release for versions 8.5 and 8.7. This vulnerability was discovered and reported by m1sn0w through Atlassian's Bug Bounty program.
