Summary

CVE-2023-22518 is an unpatched Improper Authorization vulnerability in all versions of Confluence Data Center and Server. This issue enables unauthenticated attackers to reset Confluence and create an administrator account, granting them full access to administrative functions. Potential consequences include loss of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Atlassian Cloud sites, which are hosted by Atlassian, are not affected by this vulnerability.
