Summary

CVE-2023-22439 is a vulnerability affecting the Gallagher Controller 6000 and 7000 diagnostic web interfaces. The issue arises from improper input validation of large HTTP requests on ports 80 of these controllers. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to launch a Denial of Service (DoS) attack on the diagnostic web interface. This vulnerability affects various versions of the Gallagher Controller software, including 8.90.1620 (MR2), 8.80.1369 (MR3), 8.70.2375 (MR5), 8.60.2550 (MR7), and all versions of 8.50 and prior. Users are advised to update their software to the latest versions to mitigate this risk.
