Summary

CVE-2023-21565 is a new spoofing vulnerability affecting Azure DevOps Server. Hackers can exploit this weakness to impersonate other users or organizations within the Azure DevOps environment, potentially gaining unauthorized access to sensitive information. The attacker can manipulate the appearance of the user interface, making it difficult for unsuspecting users to distinguish between genuine and fraudulent requests. The impact of this vulnerability can extend beyond data theft, as it may enable the attacker to perform actions on behalf of the spoofed user, such as committing malicious changes to code repositories. Microsoft has released a security update to address this issue, and it is strongly recommended that all Azure DevOps Server users apply the patch as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
