Summary

CVE-2023-21413 is a remote code execution vulnerability discovered by GoSecure on behalf of Genetec Inc. It affects the application handling service in AXIS OS, which is used during the installation of ACAP applications on Axis devices. An attacker can exploit this weakness by injecting commands, allowing them to run arbitrary code. Axis has released patched versions of AXIS OS to address this vulnerability. Organizations using affected devices are encouraged to apply the security update as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
