Summary
CVE-2023-21402 is a kernel vulnerability affecting the MMU_UnmapPages function in mmu_common.c. The issue arises due to inadequate input validation, resulting in a possible out-of-bounds read. This vulnerability can be exploited to escalate privileges locally within the kernel without requiring any additional execution privileges. Notably, user interaction is not necessary for an attacker to successfully exploit this flaw.
