Summary
CVE-2023-21401 is a newly disclosed kernel vulnerability affecting the DevmemIntChangeSparse function in devicemem_server.c. The issue arises due to an integer overflow, which creates an opportunity for a possible out-of-bounds write. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could result in local privilege escalation within the kernel, granting attackers elevated access without requiring any additional execution privileges.
