Summary
CVE-2023-20596 is a vulnerability affecting the SMM (System Management Mode) Supervisor. An attacker who manages to compromise an SMI (System Management Interrupt) handler can exploit improper input validation, allowing them to gain Ring0 access, which could result in arbitrary code execution.
