Summary

CVE-2023-20216 is a privilege escalation vulnerability affecting all Cisco BroadWorks server types. An authenticated, local attacker with the BWORKS or BWSUPERADMIN role can exploit this issue by issuing crafted commands, allowing them to elevate privileges and execute commands beyond their intended access level, including operating system commands with elevated permissions.
