Summary

CVE-2023-20213 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the CDP processing feature of Cisco ISE. An unauthenticated, adjacent attacker can exploit this issue by sending maliciously crafted CDP traffic, leading to a crash of the CDP process. Consequences include impaired neighbor discovery and the inability for Cisco ISE to determine remote device reachability. Post-crash, the CDP process must be manually restarted using interface configuration mode commands.
