Summary

CVE-2023-20170 is a vulnerability affecting certain Cisco ISE CLI commands. An authenticated, local attacker with Administrator-level privileges can exploit this issue by submitting maliciously crafted commands. The weakness stems from insufficient input validation. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute command injection attacks on the underlying operating system, potentially escalating privileges to root level access.
